How it works

How TaxOnPad tracks every tax deadline.

Most tools track due dates. TaxOnPad tracks periods — each filing window for each client — and derives the due date from the rules, so it is always right.

1 · Add the client

Create the company, or import your client list from Excel. Record its type, EIN, owners and the states it operates in.

2 · Enrol in services

Choose services — sales tax, income tax, estimated tax, payroll — and the states or tax years they apply to.

3 · Periods appear

The engine creates each period with its due date, accounting for frequency, fiscal year-end, weekends and holidays.

4 · Work the board

Your team moves each period through statuses. Overdue and upcoming work is flagged automatically.

5 · Keep clients informed

Clients follow progress in their portal and message you in-app rather than by email.

6 · Bill and review

Send invoices, review the audit log, and see exactly what changed and who changed it.
